Library Classroom

Librarians work with classes to help hundreds of students a year get the most from their research. Faculty request instruction for research projects and papers; librarians tailor the session to the course content and assignments using the Library classroom, the regular course classroom, or Zoom remote sessions. Various asynchronous instructional tools may be used, as well.

The classroom can accommodate up to 30 students in comfortable, flexible chairs. (This may be affected by social distancing requirements while COVID-19 related measures are in place.) Twenty Chromebooks are available on-site for student use. The instructor workstation is equipped with laptop, speakers, Ethernet, WiFi, and projector. The east wall of the classroom is whiteboard space — perfect for brainstorming.
