Library Spaces

The following rooms may be reserved in advance by Columbia faculty, staff, and students.

Room 301 - North Reading Room

Room 301 - North Reading Room

Also known as 3 North, this open space offers comfortable seating and tables with a view overlooking Grant Park.

Room 305 - Library Meeting Room

Room 305 - Library Meeting Room

Located on the 3rd Floor. The room has 3 tables, seating for 10, and a white board.

Blum Conference Room

Located on the 5th Floor. This wood-paneled room has an oversized conference room table with seating for 18 and big picture windows.

Library Classroom

The classroom can accomodate up to 30 students in comfortable, flexible chairs. The instructor workstation is equipped with laptop, speakers, Ethernet, Wifi and projector. The east wall of the classroom is a whiteboard.

Study Rooms

Study Rooms may be reserved in advance by Columbia students, faculty, and staff. Some study rooms include whiteboards and collaborative technology.

Meditation Room

The Meditation Room is available during regular library hours. The room is sparsely furnished but does provide a couple chairs, kneeling pillows, shoe rack, and prayer rugs. 

The room is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
