Setting Up My Library Account

Current Columbia students, faculty, and staff automatically receive a Library account. For online access to your Library account, you need to complete the User Account Form. Once you have activated your online account, you will be able to renew books, request books from other iShare libraries, and check for library fines.

You will need the following information to activate your online Library account:

  • Your Name
  • Your Columbia email account
  • Desired Username and Password (we suggest you use your OASIS login information)
  • Your Library ID - the 14-digit number starting with 22711 found on the back of your Columbia ID
  • Select Columbia College from the Drop-down *Please Select LIbrary* menu

If you previously completed the User Account Form, you can login to your library account with your username and password.
