College Archives performs research on the collections it holds related to Columbia College Chicago history and on the manuscript collections it houses in support the curricula of the College.
Its staff visits other archives, contacts people to ensure accurate information, does online, in-person, and database searches, and presents information digitally when appropriate and with proper permissions.
This exhibit features a small portion of research done on collection materials in order to understand the origins.
